Doing Claddagh Proud on St. Patrick's Day
As ever, the talented and hardy children of the Claddagh School Band put in an excellent performance as they marched before crowds of thousands of spectators at the 2019 Galway St. Patrick’s Day Parade.

It wasn’t just the audiences that enjoyed themselves at “Claddagh’s Greatest Show” - the children all had great craic getting into costume and make-up before their stage debut on Wednesday, 19th December.

There was just so much to see at this year’s Senior Christmas show, we’re going to have to ration the pictures out piece by piece.
What can be said of “Claddagh’s Greatest Show”? Simply this: It more than lived up to its name.
Apart from that, we’ll let the pictures tell the story of the almost unbelievable amount of work, preparation, skill and talent that came together to create this, a production that could easily hold its own against any other, up to and including on a national stage.
Special credit, of course, must go to Ms. Rosemary Ledwith, the creative and executive driving force behind the entire production: Her talent, hard work and organisational skill was truly awe-inspiring. Ok, we’ll let the pictures speak for themselves now. Here, first of all, are a few choice shots from the dress rehearsal on Tuesday, 18th December.

Both children and parents were highly impressed by the extremely high quality of Ms. Parkinson’s and Ms. McDonald’s Second Class Show, “A Christmas Carol”. With such a high standard of preparation, props, singing and acting, this was yet another example of hard work, talent and enthusiasm combining to create a great experience for all here at Claddagh School.

Ms. Barrett and Ms. Mitchell’s First Class children proved to be, well, first-class, when they wowed us all with their seasonal spectacular.
